The Fractal Museum will provide solutions for scientists and fractal geometers, art lovers, aspiring fractal artists, as well as historians; filling four critical needs in the world:
- Fractal Geometers: A place to learn fractal geometry and how it can be applied to science, technology, prediction, and open our understanding of our planet, the stars above, and the cells within our bodies.
- Art Lovers: A living and evolving gallery of new fractal art, as well as a place to learn the names of the many different types of fractals, and well beyond the well known Mandelbrot Set.
- Fractal Artists: A central place to learn about the methods and applications used to create fractals, as well as a place to preserve current tutorials and methods for creating fractal art.
- Art Historians: A place to learn about the early formation of fractal art, from when it nearly died twice with Gaston Julia, to the challenges it faced when Benoit Mandelbrot's fractal geometry was first rejected by the scientific community.
With your help, we will reach 501(c)(3) status as a non-profit organization, where we can approach larger companies and organizations for our goal of building a physical museum of fractal art.
